Rampage iv has 4 pci 3.0 slots, and right now I have both my 780s in #1 and #2 slot, the first gpu is like 12 celsius higher idling than the other, does it make a performance difference if i put the second card in slot #3?

It probably gives the gpus more space to breathe meaning lower temps which allows for better overclocking.

Shorter answer: Yes?

If you put it to slot 3 then slot 1 card gets more air and runs cooler.

And after that you get more performance, because of GPU boost 2.0

I might be wrong here, but doesnt the rampage IV have 16x slots in numer 1 and 4 pci slots? Atleast that is what I think I can see on my rampage IV extreme. I dont know if that increses performance, but I seem to have read somewhere that a Titan would be close to saturating a 16x slot (that might have been in a gen 2 slot though..) correct me if Im wrong! ;)

But yes, like the others have said, it would probably be a good idea if you want a cooler card. :)

(Comming soon)

Do i still get the full bandwidth/power or whatever to both cards? IDK how that stuff works :s  like.. one wont be x16 and one wont be x4 or whatever

I'm not sure but I think when you sli, the two cards run at x8 anyway.
