  • To anyone who thinks you should not use VGA: Shut the fudge up, it makes no difference

To you: Use the included DVI to VGA adapter and voilá. If you want to use the motherboard sockets, ensure your motherboard supports the LucidLogix Virtu MVP driver and it should work

Compatible with Windows 95

Nope, not at all. All placebo.

Like really, none at all... VGA is fine if you are gaming at 1920x1080 at 60Hz

um. have to disagree with you. maybe if you have a high quailty cable, but the generic ones that come with monitors? yeah there's a difference. did a blind test with my brother to prove it.

all depends on the quality of the cable though. so theres a chance there will be a difference.

Not so much the cable, more so the receiver on the other end

Obviously there is a difference in quality when it comes to digital interfaces like HDMI and analog interfaces like VGA. But I agree with you, if you have a decent cable the difference is barely noticeable, it is totally fine to use VGA, if you have no other option.

Placebo or not, it's absolutely noticeable if I switch between VGA and dvi on my monitor.

It could be the monitor or the cable, but it's there.
