First time Mechanical

Go to solution Solved by Flyguygamer,

Logitech g710+

So I've seen most people believe that mechanical is the best key switch out there and I was considering buying one.  I have limited knowledge on keyboards in general, so I was hoping I could get some suggestions.

Requirements:

Silent Keys (I can't stand having there be any noise)

     Much Media keys

Decent life (I don't want a cheap board that won't last very long)

     Full Keyboard

     Backlit maybe?

Any suggestions are welcome and thanks for the help in advance!

Probably wouldn't advise a 710+ but then I'm not sure what I would recommend.

BTW, the G710+ keycaps are notoriously short lived. Look into your own keycaps if you want some of your own that are really good.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

Ok, I'll be sure to look into that.  The board just has the features I want and I looked up cherry mx browns and they sound like what I want.

If it comes down to it, then Logitech has great customer service. And even then, you could buy better replacement keycaps further down the line.
