hey guys i was wondering which is better 2 gtx 970s or 1 gtx 980 please give accurate answer

970s in SLI will outperform a single 980, but if you want upgradability get a single 980 and SLI it in the future.

I'd go with the 980 but since you are not gonna upgrade any sooner for a 980 SLI, get the 970 SLI instead!

And you might want to go with dual-channel RAM. I saw your build and you only had 1 stick of 8GB. It would be better to get 2x4GB RAM.

Get one 970 and see what AMD releases in January. Depending on what happens, sell the 970 and get an AMD card or grab another 970 and SLI.
