Currently I have a 7970 ghz crossfire setup but my case does get pretty toasty. I had temps going to 91c on my gpu when I was using a noctua nf p12 as a side panel exhaust but I am not sure which is the best setup for the side panel.     Intake or exhaust.

I do have a 120mm bottom intake and a 140 front intake 120mm fan in the middle of the case. 240mm top radiator and a 120mm nf p12 as a exhaust. I am currently using the corsair sp 120 performance editions as a exhaust but it sounds like a jet engine when the graphics card is under load.

But it does keep it cool (72c max gpu temp) My 2 7970ghz has the windforce cooler on it. I am not sure if using the side panel as an exhaust is as efficient as an intake. If you have any recommendations list them.

That's weird because I have a 280x toxic (a rebranded 7970) and my temps never go over 70 degrees and all I have is a fan on the back blowing air out of the case

1 7970ghz it stays nice and frosty

2 7970 and it becomes an oven.

The thing I am worried about is the side panel fan will blow air straight on the GPUs but it is not a reference cooler it's the gigabyte one that blows the hot air to the top of the card.

It is suppose to supply your open air cooler GPUs with fresh air. Try it first and tell us your tempts
