So I took my tower outside to air dust it cause it was getting pretty rough looking...
I never had an issue with over heating or anything until I did the air dusting.
There was a lot of dust and build up around the CPU
I have never touched the thermal paste since i put it on 3 years ago.
I feel like that is poor maintinance on my part.
But could i have possibly like blown some of the old thermal paste out from between my CPU and the heatsink?
Because since then I have had some fairly big over heating issues of like 75-90 degrees C

It's very unlikely to remove any thermal compound or material when dusting but it's not a bad idea to replace older thermal compound if heat issues arise, just be sure your fans are proper working and installed back where they were previously.
