That means different things for different people. If you are not going to use the features then no, it is not worth it.

How do you know what he needs?

If he needed the features on that board then he probably would've stated the features he would use

There is very little a ROG board offers to warrant the higher price tag.

What kind of features does it have? Because I own it and I don't know what is hidden in the bios haha, overclocking is pretty easy though.

- keybot

- Intel lan

- Sonic radar, OPT amp.

- PWM chasis fan control arround the board

- Decent bios. in my opinnion the most overclockers friendly.

But if its realy worth it or not, just depends.

For me personaly its worth it, because i simply dont like qualcom killer nic

But yeah on the otherhand the Gigabyte offers sata express, which the Hero doesnt.

Sata Express is one of the new standards, which is aimed to replace sata as a faster alternative.

I wouldn't worry about it, as I seriously doubt sata express will end up winning out over M.2

I totaly agree,

i personaly dont believe in sata express either but more in M.2.

If you think about it, 1TB M.2 SSD´s directly placed on the mobo no cables anymore, realy ideal.
