so with the new omega drivers, is VSR supported on the 270X? 

yes

 

That's wrong. It is only supported on Hawaii (290, 290X, 295X2) and Tonga (285) cards. 270X does not support VSR as of the latest Omega drivers and likely never will due to it lacking the scaling hardware to do so.

I believe all the Radeon GPUs can do it utilizing driver/software methods (although not yet implemented) but only the newer chips in the 290/290x/285 can do it in hardware like nvidia does.
