Hi all,

I'm building in the NZXT H440 with an ASUS X99 Deluxe motherboard, and I'm running into some issues with the USB 3.0 Header. I can get it plugged in, but the cable is bent very sharply and puts pressure on the header, which I'd rather avoid.

So I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas of how I could avoid this. I was thinking of getting a header extension and modding it to have a smaller plug, and perhaps more flexible cable, is that possible? Failing that I could cut into the case so the cable only has to bend 90 degrees instead of 180, but that's something I'd rather avoid.

Regards,

Kieran

It's a bit pricy but as of right now only these types of extensions will remedy what your having problems with:

Yea that connector is a pain for cable management. Worse than the 24pin atx imo.

I had that problem to, i just ended up moving the header to another port near the 24 pin.

Your mobo doesn't have that though, unfortunatley
