Change that PSU for the love of all that is holy. 650W Modular with Bronze 80 plus minimum for a serious RIG.

Your 350W PSU probably actually provides 210W due to 60% heat efficiency at peak load.  A Geforce GTX 760 is 170W, you don't have enough power.

Intel 12400F | 2x8 3000Mhz Corsair LPX | ASRock H570M-ITX  | Noctua DH-N14 | Corsair MP50 480GB | Meshilicious | Corsair SF600Fedora

Thanks let me know if I said something useful. Cheers!

If something has 60% efficiency and says it provides 350W than it means that it provides 350W and takes 490W from wall and 140W is spent on heating of component.

He does not need 650W for his pc even if he adds 270x and i5

Not true, at peak load PSU do not supply what they say do.That  350W will provide anywhere close to 350W when he starts drawing power more than 70% of its maximum output, this is why 80 Plus certifications exist.

Change both if you've got money.

Intel Core i3 2100 @ 3.10GHz - Intel Stock Cooler - Zotac Geforce GT 610 2GB Synergy Edition

Intel DH61WW - Corsair® Value Select 4GBx1 DDR3 1600 MHz - Antec BP-300P PSU

WD Green 1TB - Seagate 2.5" HDD 1TB - Seagate Barracuda 500GB - Antec X1 E.

Quality psu have it specs determined by its real abilities.

Efficiency is what I described.

... a good quality psu costs 50$, it´s not worth it to talk about if you need it or not.

Just get it if you want to upgrade pc components, no need for being that cheap.

At the end you´ll look back at the money you spent and destroyed for 50$.

Running a psu over 100% of its intended use <.<  classic

Edit: I stand corrected, the efficiency refers to AC to DC conversion process.

I still would recommend a better PSU.

No it doesn't, its specs are determined by its best output, not if it can actually provide that power at maximum load or not.

Oh my... It looks that you are really determined to continue with your opinion...

No decent manufacturer would write 350W if it will explode at 351W.

A few games won't start on a dual core. You would most likely see a boost to your framerates at higher settings by upgrading either, though if you can, overclocking the CPU might help to see if that is the bottleneck. I would say wait until the new GPUs with smaller fab processes release. AMD is going down to 20nm and Nvidia is supposedly going down to 16nm.

This will give more bang for the buck rather than going for the current ones.

I hope this helps you man!

Go for an r9 270/280 and then upgrade the CPU

Follow the topics you create using the "Follow" button in the top right corner!

One day I will have my GTX 970. One day. PC specs are at my profile.

Not sure how to check what part works with what? Check out my compatibility guide!
