This is not the reason at all. They are not available on the market because there weren't enough request from the consumer, making an ITX board, specially one with extra power delivery is not a very easy job.

Alright, thanks for the correction. That's just what I've heard.

Clear examples are the the Asus ROG Impact, Z97I-PRO, EVGA Stinger, Gigabyte Gaming 5 mini itx, etc. All those can provide sick amounts of power, you could just drop a FX 9590 in one of those if the socket would be compatible. On the other hand, company reps from different companies, like Asus and Gigabyte told us more than a couple of times, that the FX ITX was never something a lot of people asked, and that if we want to change that, then we should start hitting those social networks hard.
