CPU - lga1150 Intel Core i5-4690K up to 3.90GHz (Quad Core) 4GB 500GB
MOBO - lga1150 MSI Z97 G55 SLI
RAM - Gskill Ripjaws X 8gb 4gbx2 DDR3 1866 CL9 (F3-14900CL9D-8GBXL)

In a few games yes, but there aren't many options that would really help and none that would help significantly (in general).

Yes... Some games don't really care about your GPUs. An example is starcraft because of all of the units.

thats not a bottleneck if u compare it to starcraft.

reason u have drop frame in starcraft is to much unit for the cpu to handle.

4690k doesnt bottleneck a pair of 970.

Learn the different

If u still think thats the reason slowing down a pair of 970.

I guess u have to pay 1000dollar cpu to play starcraft

That is exactly what a bottleneck is, when upgrading a component (not necessarily to a real product) will make it perform better.

so ur suggestion is to get a 5960x

for a pair of 970?

I dont think starcraft is a good example of cpu bottlenecking gpu.

No, i'm not. It wouldn't be better because it couldn't use all those cores.

Starcraft is the prime example of cpu bottlenecking, it is actually pretty hard to run and is very cpu dependent.
