Getting into PC Gaming, looking for a $800 build including monitor and OS!

Ba11istiKA

Hi people of the gaming community! I'm looking to buy a Gaming PC and I was at first going to get a pre-built but I really got driven into the idea of building because I have been "studying" the art of computer building and basically know the whole process with a little trouble on wiring. Nevertheless, can you guys give me a good $800 build for everything? (OS, Monitor, dvd drive, etc.)

THANKS!!!

-Marcus

P.S. THIS IS FOR CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

Where do you live?

Do you plan to OC?

Will you Liquid Cool?

AMD or Intel?

What Resolution for the Monitor?

What OS do you want?

Because he had a hard drive.

On a budget, I think OP can live with the stock cooler, he can enable cool n quiet or set to silent mode to silence the fan. The extra $30 spend on a after market cooler is better off for something useful like a better GPU.
