Voltage fluctuates, is this normal?

Just want to make sure this is ok. I set the voltagte to 1.29v in BIOS and in CPU-Z it shows it moving from 1.29v to 1.312v. Just want to make sure this is ok.

The cpu downvoltages as its use lessens, if you load up prime95 or similar stress tool it should be stable at your set voltage.

For me that would be weird. If I set it at 1.080, it will stay there, no matter what.

I use Intel extreme tuning utility and it fluctuates.

XTU was weird for me. It said my frequency and voltage was jumping up and down, and it wasn't.

That is weird. I guess as long as you don't notice any instability, it should be fine.
