Building a Digital Audio Workstation

I am big into the music scene and really enjoy creating music. I've been wanting to build a audio production pc, but at the same time be able to play games at 1080p. I estimated that im willing to spend between 1000 and 1500 dollars, but i don't know what to use for cpu or stuff like that. please help i would really appreciate it.

Which audio production software do you use? Their recommended specs will be a great help in creating a build for you.

i use fl studio mostly

if your amplifier or whatever else you are outputting the sound to can accept digital and has a good DAC then it kinda doesn't matter build because you should use the gfx cards HDMI output.

 

Else if you need to output analog signals then get a good sound card.
