Aftermarket Braided PSU Cables

Davethegamer

Hello, today I need some help with cables.

I want to get the Be Quiet Dark Power Pro 10 for my upcoming build, from what I hear it's great. My only problem is the cables aren't completely braided. Does anyone know where I can find aftermarket braided psu cables? If you do please link it bellow, thank you.

full build for those who care,

Edit: Thanks for moving it to modding

You will need to use sleeved cable extensions because bequiet does not make sleeved cable kits for their PSUs.

You cannot use other companies cable kits for this PSU (such as corsairs sleeved cable kits)

Silverstone and bitfenix make nice sleeved cable extensions, these will attach to the end of your PSU's cables.

why is that? Why can't I use BitFenix cables with it?

Yes you can use bitfenix cable extensions.

AFAIK bitfenix does not make sleeved cable kits, since they dont make PSUs.

A cable kit is a set of fully modular cables made specifically for one type of PSU, because every PSU has a different modular interface.

A cable extension attaches to the end of ANY PSU's cables, and it does not plug into the PSU directly.

They are two different things. There are no custom cable kits for your PSU, so you will need to buy extensions instead.

ModDIY can make you some for everything but the built in cables, they just made me some. Though I just bought basic black wires, I couldn't decide on a colour so I figured I'd buy naked wires first then some Darkside sleeving later.

If you want a full replacement set you can get that, or you can have completely custom cables for just what you need.

Or if you have a PSU shroud you can just use extensions.

recommend the BitFenix ones, they're great.

Indeed, I use these for  the PSU and GPU and they do look amazing. Lacing them really helps keeping them tidy too
