Is it an Intel system or an AMD system?

If integrated graphics are available, it should be activated when you load optimised defaults.

Intel. 3470 CPU with 2500 graphics. Nothing loads when I reset CMOS, just a blank screen until gpu is put in.

No, it just goes into power save mode.

I just switched to integrated recently & had the similar issue with nothing being detected, I played around with the modes on the screen to look for a connection with the hdmi leading to a blue screen showing no detection. After several attempts of switching the system off & on it finally worked.

I've done this a lot and nothing yet. I'll keep trying though.
