Just get a 4690k now

get the 4690k. New i5 will probably only be 5% faster so you could just aswell buy a 2500k and not notice a difference.

It hasn't been announced, get a 4690k now, the next one may not come out for a few months and probably won't be much better.

Hi, when is the next core i5 release date? I'm wondering if I should buy the 4690k or get a pentium and upgrade when the new line comes.

Get the 4690K now, there will always be a new one coming. And getting a low-end part and promising to upgrade later is never a good idea.

You won't notice that much difference b/w generations. Get 4690k. It's good!
