Need help finding a mechanical keyboard

I'm not to familiar with mechanical keyboards but I think I defiantly want to get one to improve upon my gaming experience.

I'm looking for a good mechanic keyboard that is responsive in gaming for games that require a lot of key pressing at once (WoW, LoL, etc).

I'm not to bothered about anything else such as how loud they are.

My price range is around £60-70 (90-110$).

cheers!

SNIP

For repeat key presses you might find certain mechanical switches do not work well for double pressing, it might be worth seeing if you can try some out in a shop and see how well you can repeat key presses

The cooler master quickfire ones look pretty good and around my price range. How good is the storm quickfire XT?

For the G710+ and K70, those seem to be retailing for quite a lot, about 30-50£ over my budget. I guess the UK layout makes them more expensive.

Trust me. The g710+ is really high quality. (I personally use it)

Before you jump into investing into a particular keyboard, consider picking up a switch tester from max keyboard. No matter how intricate, or articulate our description of how keys "feel", typing or watching videos simply won't do justice to actually pressing the switches for yourself.

I find that looking at everything you want other than the switches can help narrow it down quickly. Ask yourself these questions to help narrow down your choices:

Will a 10 keyless work for me?

Does I care if its LED lit? (colors? back lit? Programmable displays?)

Do I want Macro Keys or Media Keys?

Is there a color or material I prefer?

Do I need it to come with a wrist rest?

Do I need USB ports?

Does weight or size matter to me?

After that check for switches.

Cheers

Quickfire XT is a great keyboard. What Cherry MX switch do you want?

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.
