R5 Blackout?

Do you guys think they should have released the r5 in a blackout version? I never like the way they put white highlights in the case.

If you take a piece of wood, and some black spray paint, you can easily paint one coat on each side then put them back in:

I can do that but i just wanted the convenience.

Oh yeah true, I think it only took me like 30 seconds to paint one side of all of them, then I waited a few hours and flipped them over, painted the other side then waited a few hours again and double checked.

You can do it yourself pretty easily.

 

Scuff the parts with 600 grit sand paper, and use some black spray paint. Both should be available at your local hobby store or art store.

TBH I didn't sand em and it still worked fine, as long as you get a decent coat on em they'll be alright.

you don't have to, but it helps with adhesion. I paint cars for a living, so proper adhesion is paramount to me

It's great, the bios is really nice.

The fan control software blows though.. It works, but you can only do a little bit with it.

Yeah, but I bought the slim fan as well separately that comes with the universal, so the thick fan wouldn't cover my dominator platinums
