Hi!

Im making my first build and i wanted to know what would be the best fan setup i could achive.

I am using this case : http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00FF1GF9O/ref=ox_sc_imb_mini_detail?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE

The case comes with 3 fans, but i will be replacing them with these: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B002QVLBM2/ref=gno_cart_title_2?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A1QPRCEH90XYH2.

I really dont care for the sound the fans make as i have music playing all of the time. In total i will have 6 fans, two at the front, two on the top, one on the left side and one at the back.

What would be the best setup? Considering that i am using a Hyper EVO 212 with also 2 fans and a GPU with 3 fans.

If someone knows a better cheap fan, with high airflow (~1000rpm) could you please tell me.

We have the same amount of fan and cooler except that I don't have a side fan but I have one at the bottom. All are intakes except for the one at the back. I'm planning to make my top fans as exhaust to see the difference but right now I think I'm getting good temperature.

well if it's me anyway.

I'd do 1 exhaust at the back, 1 intake side, 2 intake front and 2 intake top (specially if all those has dust filters)

but if you want a more neutral type 1 exhaust back, 2 exhaust top, 2 intake front and 1 intake side.

or if you wanna go crazy make everything exhaust :)

Live your life like a dream.

Two front: Intake
Two top: Exhaust

One back: Exhaust

Over the GPU: Intake

Although I reckon it's a little bit overkill for that spec. If I was you I'd just try out with the fans that are included with two at the front and one at the back, use the motherboard fan headers to control their speed. I know you said you're not fussed about noise but there really isn't any reason to have six fans running at full speed all the time. Three is plenty.

Fools think they know everything, experts know they know nothing

Well if you go this route I highly recommend mounting the PSU as exhaust. The grille to the right of the PCI brackets will do the rest passively.

In case the moderators do not ban me as requested, this is a notice that I have left and am not coming back.

Corsair CS750M Power Supply

Sapphire AMD Radeon Vapor-X R9 280X Tri-X

Asus M5A97 R2.0

AMD FX6300 Black Edition

Get a Jetflo for the higher mounted front intake and possibly for rear exhaust. http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/cooler-master-case-fan-r4jfdp20pwr1

Use the rest of the stock case fans for whatever fan mounts are left and keep with the overall front to back, bottom to top airflow.

I have mine setup the same since the 90s as all fans intakes, rear fan as the exhaust.

I had fun with a smoke machine the other week and found that the exhaust tends to blow "hot air" to the sides and doesn't contaminate with the top intake fans that most people worry about.

Only issue with top intakes are you have to clean the dust filters every day (isn't hard for me) and it has a tendacy to work like a hoover and pulls sheets of paper of my desk onto the intake

Thank you all for your answers.

I was wondering what would happen if id make the two top fans as intakes and also the rear one an intake , and make the side one an outake and also the front two as outtakes.

It'd be kind of counter productive since the front grill would catch exhausting dust and the rear doesn't have any solution for dust.
