K90 or wait for K95

so i ordered the k90 just now and then i heard about the k95 and im wondering if i should cancel my order and wait for the k95 to release or just get the k90 please help.

I have a K90, and looking at the features of the K95 I would still stick with the K90. I actually like the fact that the bank of programmable keys and function keys are membrane, as it men's I can easily tell a difference between them in a tactile manner. The K95 really doesnt seem like a massive step up, and I personally prefer the silver plane rather than the gun metal grey of the K95. I think whatever you decide, you'll be very happy.

Wait for the K95. No offense to CaptainSi, but the whole "it allows me to tell the difference between keys" thing sound like buyers rationalization. I've yet to see anyone who's tried it but doesn't own it, or who's owned it and owns something better espouse that as a benefit. I mean, when was the last time you heard someone say "This Ducky's great and all, but I only wish they'd used domes for the function keys"?

I'm glad they switched to white backlight (blue's pretty tired), but it might have been preferable to make the entire thing silver instead of black, though I do think having the whole thing in brushed black aluminium looks better than the asymmetric two-tone thing the K90 has going on, which made it look like the macros had just been tacked on.

I think if you're going to buy a mechanical it should be fully mechanical. The k90 has some membrane switches on it and IMHO that'd piss me off... so i'd wait for the k95

+1 Really wait for the k95, a friend has it and he hates the non mechanical keys.

i canceled my order and im just going to wait for the K95 i like the white on black it will match my computer as well as it is 100% mechanical

Wait for the K95. It would annoy the crap out of me to sit and even look at a K90 on my desk, just knowing I could have waited a month, or whatever and had the K95.

Besides, no company does a refresh of any product that fast, without having gotten some seriously bad feedback on the first. Ergo, the K95.

I just bought the K90 today, and been playing for it a while, I did checked the new features of the K95, only difference is full mechanical keys and gunmetal black instead of the aluminium finish, I prefer the looks of the K90 and I don't necessary need my G Keys to be Mechanical, it's a matter of preference, mainly on color and if wanting full mechanicals.

I am waiting for the K95 because maybe the price for the K90 will drop.
