Where do you live?

Sorry, I'd prefer not to say...

Brown. Corsair betweenthose boards.

Pricey, people say they have bad backlighting (non RGB series).

I have the logitech g710+ and i love it :)

It have cherry mx brown switches and i thing they are great for gaming and just typing.

Eh, looks okay. The "g keys" are interesting, are they macro keys? Because if so that's kinda cool.

What are your recommendations on them and which type? What's good with them? Does it not have symbols on the keys?

My opinion about them is that they are not cheap, they are one of the best or best to type with, they are mechanical (blue and brown).. Premium class keyboard.. Nothing more to say I guess :)

Yes you can make them do whatever you want them to do :)

In the Logitech software its easy to change them to do whatever :)

I have make one of them as a shortcut to shadowplay (ALT + F10) so i only need to hit one key :)

If anyone can find me a really good deal for the keyboard and send me the link, that'd be awesome. I can't find any on amazon.. :(

EDIT:

I think I'd prefer to have brown switches on a ducky shine 3, if anyone can find links to a good deal on the ducky shine 3 with brown switches and blue/magenta LEDs I would be sooooooo happy.

Since you are looking for blue/magenta LEDs, then I really suggest the Shine 4. The keyboard can do either of those. As in, you can choose between whichever you want on the fly.

And as for stores, maybe http://ncix.com or http://mechanicalkeyboards.com

*sighs*, sorry, but I don't think it's wise to tell people where you live... with todays technology you can track IP's and everything. Sorry, but I'm just trying to be safe.

If you're still willing to help me, I'm not sure why it would matter too much, any good, cheap deal for a Ducky Shine 3 Cherry MX Brown Blue LED is all that's needed for me really.

Maybe free shipping would help lower, I dunno. Just cheap in general. I'm not in US.

Hmmm, sounds cool. When you say anything... do you mean anything? Like I could set a key to open steam and another to open a steam game or open a internet tab?

There is shipping and Custom charges to consider as well, import fee's ect: Most importantly, what stores to actually order from and if they will ship out to you.

I think that you are still missunderstanding me. Here is an example of the stuff the Shine 4 can do.

Not only that. But if we need to look for a different layout than the normal ANSI layout that is used in the US.

I have used the Logitech software quite a bit, and yea, you can open programs if you code the macros right.

Pricey, people say they have bad backlighting (non RGB series).

In my country the Razer and Corsair boards are a similar price and it isn't that their backlighting is bad - individual LEDs just have a chance to fail but so do most pre-RGB LED boards due to the way the LEDs are placed on the switch, especially in that price range.

Also - Corsair actually use cherry switches while Razer don't (Razer used to and even though they don't anymore they've kept the price of products the same even though their new switches cost less).

Ugh, @GlassBomb, considering the video you send me was in a different language which I don't understand, what I think you're trying to show me is that it has multiple colours, but I only want the blue LEDS OR *OR* ***OR**** magenta...get it or shall I say it more?

As for layout, just the common basic layout, I don't know what it's called but here's an image.

@kwljunky, still would prefer not to say, I'm sorry, but it's like the basic knowledge of internet safety, don't tell strangers your personal info, sorry but it's just what I do... Lets just say Australia. It's somewhat close to where I am. That's all I'm saying. At this rate it'll be easier to find it myself but my point is, I'm new to this and I'm trying to figure out what good dealers and all.. So yeah, I'm not saying where I live, end of story. If you don't want to help from now on, okay, I'll find it myself then.. But like I said two sentences ago, I'm new to this and I'm still trying to find the right dealers and good prices etc.

I have a Ducky Shine 3 9008 keyboard in Browns and I love it. It's a high quality unit and I haven't heard about LED failures like the K70 keeps on about. For purchase keep your eyes open. Boxing day is coming up and I think that the Ducky Shine 4 will supersede the 3 so sales are certainly a thing. I got mine a month ago from NCIX for $129 cdn which isn't bad. I've seen similar deals around. The K70 is new and is a really high price at the moment.

Sir William of Orange: Corsair 230T - Rebel Orange, 4690K, GA-97X SOC, 16gb Dom Plats 1866C9,  2 MX100 256gb, Seagate 2tb Desktop, EVGA Supernova 750-G2, Be Quiet! Dark Rock 3, DK 9008 keyboard, Pioneer BR drive. Yeah, on board graphics - deal with it!

Buddy I am trying to help you, but I can't find you the right deals if I don't know what deals are running in your country dealers.

For example, I can find you a good deal in the UK (Where I live) but it's going to be useless for you. If I gave you a US deal, it's going to be pointless, or the shipping charge is going to be hefty.

Personal info would be like actual address and actual name.

If you look at the above poster, below their display picture you can see their location. Denmark is a big place, he has not given his personal information just his country. I think you may be being a bit too paranoid, but good luck in finding a keyboard none the less.

So, I'm looking to upgrade to a mechanical keyboard, I've used Logitech forever. I want a 10keyless with back lights. Any advice? I was looking at the k65, but only best buy carries them for some reason

Okay, thanks for your help I guess. I'll have to try myself now. And yes, I'm being paranoid because a few people have gone and traced my IP and then told a bunch of people my exact address and it creeps me out and then it leads to DDoS. Sorry for being paranoid but It's just me right now.
