Can my CPU handle it? (rig in specs) I was wondering whether to get arma and i heard that the game is insanely hard to run D: (seems like a really good game and i do enjoy battlefield 4 :P)

And which FPS would my rig be playing on at max settings? (1080p)

I love arma! You will Porb run about 40-50 frames depending on the server, nobody really gets better than that. I have i7 and 7870ghz and i only get like 40 i doubt you will get much more but it will still be the best or most fun you will ever play.

Arms is very badly optimized. Currently my rig can play multiplayer at 15 fps and single player at 55fps. It's a military sim game. It's very slow compared to bf4.

What do you do in the game itself?

It'll run around 40FPS.

On the subject of the game... I found it quite boring really. Played it for 3 hours or so at a friends house and if he wasn't there I would probably have done something else.

it's a simulation, it's very hard and long and technical...it has nothing to do with Battlefield or call of duty for example...those are ''arcadish'' compared to Arma 3...make your research make sure it's your type of game cause not everybody enjoy such complex games where EVERY single freaking key on the keyboard does something different...it's tuff.

arma3 is " realistic" and time consuming.....it is absolutley nothing like bf4 , where all you do is run and gun and try to get as many kills as possible as quick as possible...

THat's because you run a 8350, and ARma is IPC heavy. Which is a particularly bad trait of the FX CPU's.

OP's i5-4440 will fair much better.

True. But a friend of mines who has a i7 3930k gets around 25 fps in multiplayer. But yet again you doing really need a high fps to play it.

Well, unless he overcloced it, sandy is a slower than haswell. Especially a 3930K which runs at ~3.2ghz at stock.
