F@H client wont connect

Go to solution Solved by Whaler_99,

Now that is one heck of an error message... ok...

Uninstall, make sure you choose the check mark to delete work. Reboot.

Reinstall. Maker sure you have your passkey correct.

Test. :)

I have been folding for a little while now with no problems other than when my gpu drivers crashed once. i am guessing i tried to make it do too much at once.

computer was folding while i was gone for a while today. came home and it was still going no problem. opened the forums and get caught up on what i missed. left for a little to eat and when i come back my computer has restarted and now wont connect to the F@H servers. no idea what happened. everything else seems fine.

i tried restarting the computer and re installing the F@H client.

any suggestions?

As per the FAQ - On the client system, simply try browsing to http://assign.stanford.edu:8080/and http://assign.stanford.edu:80/. Both pages should come up saying OK. This helps confirm that at least you can get to the work servers from your client.
