Hi everyone, I want to build my first pc very soon(In a week or so) and I feel that I am almost ready to start ordering my parts. I'm trying to fit everything into a $1700-$1800. I just want to know how you guys think it looks. Is there something I can add or take off or somewhere I can save money? Here is a link:

personally id sacrifice that cooler for an h100i and save some $$ with a cheaper mobo (msi gd65) so you can get a 4770k to ensure you dont bottleneck the gpu

I highly doubt that he'll bottle neck his gpu with this. I don't think that anyone should sacrifice a good motherboard for anything. I have done it before and wont do it again.

You need to get an ssd!!!!!! That will bottle neck your system. Also if you live near a microcenter you can get your cpu/mobo combo for $130 less if you go for the 4770k.

I'll check microcenter. It's a bit of a drive but I'll go if the price is significantly low. And about the ssd, I will get that later this year when I gather up some more money. But I dont really need one for the time being, I can deal with the boot speeds on a hdd

Actually, I remembered that my friend has a spare copy of win7 64bit and he said he would give it to me if I do end up building a pc so I think I will get the ssd now

You can get a cheaper psu. A bronze 800-900w will be plenty and be much cheaper.

The H220 is also quite expensive, you could go cheaper.

There's cheaper ram. Any CL9 1600/1866 will do.

Kingston 1600: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/kingston-memory-khx16c9b1bk28

Corsair Vengeance (that's faster AND cheaper...): http://pcpartpicker.com/part/corsair-memory-cml8gx3m2a1866c9r

You can easily fit a Samsung 840 120GB with your budget without sacrificing any noticeable performance.

An overclock from an h100i or even a Noctua NH-D14 won't be noticeably slower than the H220

There's a higher clocked 780 for only $10-15. It's a cheap boost.
