I am looking for a pair of headphones that will plug into an iphone.  My brother is a drummer and he needs to be able to listen to his music while playing the drums.  Ideally, closed sound staged, but not noise canceling because he needs to hear the drums.  Less than $100

Thanks

I can help with programming and hardware.

Yes I do like to use the CHC Silverado's as they have very good isolation and they stay nicely on your head!

I've heard some competitive gamers (I'm talking those who compete in a big hall with lots of audiences) wear 2 layers. The headphone is noise canceling, and inside he wears IEMs with the actual game sound. Any musicians do that?

I've mostly seen CIEM's used, but some use Beyerdynamic DT1350's, or Sennheiser HD25's.

I've also seen some people with Vic Firth's stereo drumming headphones, which are basically acoustic earmuffs with speakers in them, but apparently isolate up to 25 dB
