No output from r9 270x

Hi, yesterday my new sapphire r9 270x arrived but i cant get anny signal if i take it back out the onboards will work like it did the last year.

the fans on the card spinn, i have enough power and everything connected, it just wont show anything i hear the windows start sound but dont see it.

i hope its something stupid and not incompatible

you just need to change around some bios settings

If you are using hdmi make sure you shove that thing in there, amd cards somehow have the worst hdmi connectors i have ever seen.

If you are using hdmi make sure you shove that thing in there, amd cards somehow have the worst hdmi connectors i have ever seen.

It's a foxconn connector, don't expect highly of their multimedia ports.

One or more things could be wrong with it.

 

A. The card is DOA, which means that you would need to send it back.

B. The BIOS is set to use onboard graphics, not PCI-e.

C. The plug/cable could be messed up.
