Canon 70D settings issues.

Flyguygamer

Every time I turn the camera off and then on again the setting change, focus button, drive mode, all sorts of things.

Does anyone know what's going on?

are you maybe using some custom kind of firmware?

if not it might be an older firmware version, or the possibility the settings don't get saved.

if this doesnt solve it, please let me know, then i will try to dig a bit deeper into it.

May the light have your back and your ISO low.

Stock firmware, Canon has never released an update as far as I know so it is the only version I can get. Any other ideas?

what model of the 70D do you have?

the normal version(mark1) or the recently released 70D mark2?

There is only one version of the 70D

At first I would reset the camera and see if it still happens after that.

Done that, still doesn't work

You are think of the 7D, 70D is only one, 7d and 7d mk ii are different.

That's odd, these changes are totally random?

Is the internal clock running OK?

I mean if the settings are always changed to the same setting or to random settings?

Nevertheless I think non of this should happen so maybe you should go to a Canon Service Point.

whoops my mistake, bit ahead of the curve, read to much rumors.

this seems the best thing to do, since it sounds like an internal problem, wich can occur every now and/or then.
