First time building a desktop help!

No because there will be nothing to power the monitor, simple as that. Try to ask for someone to lend you his card for a few hours if you really can't wait to install the Windows. An other option is just to buy a GT 210. It's like 20$ and is a good back up card in case you need to RMA you primary one. I have a GT 210 and I will say that it saved my life when I had to RMA my GTX 770 back in the day. Without it I would be stuck with no PC for more than a month.
