im new to PC's, a corsair h100i would be enough to cool a 3570k at 4.4-4.5GHz right?

yeap, you still need good airflow inside your case, so that you cooler doesn't use overheated air from inside.

 

aside from that, the h100i can deal with that no problem.

Meant to add this to the quote but I'm on mobile and seem to be able to, I'm using non-stock fans on it and adding 3 other fans to the case which should ne enough

It also depends on whether or no you can get there. Whether you get a below-average overclocker or not. My friend's 3770K can't get past 4GHz, even @ 1.3V

I'm looking at the HAF XB at the moment and there's just 1 120mm fan for intake at the back if I have a h100 (dual 120mm) exhaust at the front of the case .. Think that will be enough?
