I wouldn't recommend a beginner get sucked into the hype, but if you've got the spare cash anyways and like wasting it on frivolous things then at least this wont be completely useless item. It'll likely be the best thing your ears have ever heard.

K612 pro are 140 on amazon. Look under more buying choises

LAWL best thing my ears have heard would probably be Razer Kraken Pro (I have others but I like the Kraken the best I think)...

 

hopefully Linus' review will come out before the drop ends so I can hear his opinion on it.. I like Barnacules reviews and he has the K612 pro..
