Seconded, this card is amazingly strong for the money and it's the second best cooler too (THe best being the Sapphire Vapor-X)

This is why you should not get an FX CPU for ANY scenario other than rendering on a budget http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/286142-fx-8350-r9-290-psu-requirements/?p=3892901 http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/266481-an-issue-with-people-bashing-the-fx-cpus/?p=3620861

As far as I know Amazon doesn't ship electronics to New Zealand? And a 290 in New Zealand is 450nzd.

@XajatomblastX do you plan on buying them in New Zealand or internationally? If in NZ, what site do you use?

Also checking the classifieds here there's a $200 r9 290, which is a steal.

for that price range in NZ you can get an ASUS R9 270X or an Nvidia 660 in case you didn't know there's a pretty decent site for NZ called pricespy (pricespy.co.nz)

I tried to have a look around Newegg shopping as a Kiwi, it said a lot of cards weren't available for NZ.

Judging by prices though, if you can pick up a 760 in your price range off them go for it.
