windows movie maker - ram limit?

I understand that more ram will help with lowering rendering times in good programs like premire and vegas and after effects (along with a better cpu) but does movie maker have a ram limit? Will the render times be lower with 16gb vs 8 gb *cpu is a i7 4790k*

Rendering time is not really affected by the amount of ram unless you have less than 4GB allocated.

What ram is important for is realtime playback within the editor. Watching your preview of multiple video streams without the stuttering and lag of loading from a HDD/SSD.

If you're just using WMM 8GB of ram will be enough, adding more will not make it render faster. The CPU is what matters there.
