Ok so I received a Gamestop giftcard about a year and a half ago for $75. Any suggestions on what I should spend it on. I only play pc and please don't suggest steam card because thats pretty obvious. Or does anyone know if I can get money from Gamestop for this. Like if I bought something and then returned it would they give me money?

Yeah I would try buy something and then return it in the hope that they will give you cash :D

I have no idea how well it will work though and yeah, Steam card is kinda the only real thing...

Is this the real life? Or is this just fantasy?

If you return it, it's in-store credit only.

Buy a racing wheel if you are into racing games.

Buy [insert gaming accessory here] as that would be your best bet for something you'd *actually* want.

Buy a portable game/gaming device. Even for a PC gamer, those can be good options.

Pre-order a PC game you want to pre-order for the exclusive stuff (if they have those, not sure about that).

Subscribe to game informer. I like having them like comic books. Cool artwork for games I generally like (Zelda, particularly).

Buy old School games and a [insert your favorite retro console here] if they have that stuff. Some stores do.

Beyond that, no idea.

Yah thanks for those suggestions. Not really sure if I could get money but that of course would be the best option for me.

You're welcome. Glad to help.

One thing I could suggest is buy a wired USB controller (Xbox or third party) for PC games you would rather use a controller for. Racing (if you'd rather buy something you can use for everything rather than strictly for racing), Fighting, and I would guess RPG's are genres that I would personally prefer a controller for.

Bad ports generally need a controller (Dark Souls for example).

You could also use said controller for emulators as well.

Try to sell it to someone.

That would be the best bet that I maybe but not sure what to charge for it if I was to sell it.

If you buy preowned and return it in 7 days you CAN get actual money, you just have to ask, i just did it yesterday.

Gamestop doesnt sell old consoles and or games.

I would say either pre order something or get wii and play games :D

Buy a pre owned game of any system or what ever, and bring it back in 7 days or less and when they are checking you out you ask for cash and make sure to stress you are returning it not trading it in.
