What GPU to get next?

Hi guys,

 

My 780 died yesterday :( I am going to get a new card soon, I am looking at 980 or 970 and would appreciate a little help deciding if possible. I like the price of the 970 but I'm not really happy with a card that performs worse/on par with my old (dead) 780. There is a possibility of a 780ti for about £150 cheaper than 980.

The 970 performs better than a 780ti. It is much better than your old 780.

Would also recommend the GTX 970, has all the power you need for 1080p, and if you need really more get a secound it's a SLI beast.
