Asus GTX970 Strix problem.

Go to solution Solved by Godlygamer23,

Then I reckon it's an issue with the drivers or the game. Card is fine.

Hello, I have recently picked up an Asus GTX970 Strix. I was enjoying it. But when I was playing Far Cry 4, the screen went blank and said 'no signal'. I restarted the computer, launched the game and continued playing with any problems. I have also stress test this card before and after this problem by running Heaven benchmark and Furmark. All the test passed without errors. The temperature of the card maxed out at 70 degrees Celsius. The no signal problem only happened once. I suspect that it could be Nvidia drivers causing the problems. Should I just wait for Nvidia to update their drivers and hope that it fixes my problem or replace the card? Also, is there any other software to test to see if there is any problems with my GPU? Thanks! :D

though Nvidia did the driver fix last tuesday for FC4? what power supply are you running?

It's a driver optimization for the game. Any bugs that are caused by the drivers or game are not necessarily fixed.

OP, have you played any other titles?

I wouldn't freak out about something crashing once.

Even well programed games and software can still crash.

If it happens frequently or you can repeat it then I'd worry.

I feel ya OP. I shit the bed when any game crashes on me to this day! DA:O still does every other 10 hour session, sometimes WoW froze mid raid, and even DA:I crashed twice since release. Just save frequently and restart it up. You specs look bad ass so its definatly not you :)
