Decent $100-150 (maybe 200) Android tablet?

So, one of my friends is in need of a new tablet, and both of us are kinda clueless when it comes to them. But, I looked at his old tablet, and I think I have a basic criteria for this.

 

  • Decent display (but pretty much everything in this price range should have one anyway)
  • At LEAST 16GB of onboard storage, with microSD expansion available
  • As close to bare Android as possible (Samsung and ASUS are fine), and it needs to have at least 4.4 (KitKat)
  • Decent rear camera (less grainy and crappy = more better)
  • Fast (again, pretty much everything in this price bracket should be pretty snappy)

I would suggest the Tesco HUDL 2 but that is UK only. So I guess a second generation Nexus? I don't know what they go for in the US.

Shield tablet is 300 isn't it? I am thinking nexus 7. It's 200.

Yeah, the regular shield portable is 200.

Maybe check Craigslist, sometimes banks and stuff give them away as promotions and people post them there really cheap still in the box.
