I think that it is compatiable but the psu is overkill why not get a better gpu and a 800w psu instead of 1100w. This will still give you plenty of headroom for upgrades. I have a 800w psu and with my system which is basically the same as yours I could add another 7970 to my system and I would be fine.

It's better to get two 8gb sticks, just for upgrading later.

I don't think you're suppose to raid0 greens..

Why water cool a 7850? That water cooling monies could buy a much better video card and that would match your cpu's spec better.

Oh and an 1100 watt psu...c'mon.

What you picked out will work but you can optimize it quite a lot without raising the price.

PSU is over kill and i dont trust the brand, why do you need 16gb of ram, why do you need the sound card,im not sure how practical the case is but idk, No need for ram water cooling, Im not sure i would watercool at the level you are at currently, do more research and then maybe consider it, if you ignore what was just said you will need more rads, fans arent that great, Dont water cool the ram, 2 8gb sticks for upgrading later, not a great idea to raid green drives, dont water cool the 7850 its a bit of a waste instead of water cooling try and get a better GPU.

can you guys suggest what part should i change? :)

and with what you recommend to replace it with

Processor : AMD FX8350 Black Edition
Motherboard : Asus Crosshair V Formula-Z
RAM / Memory : HyperX Limited Editions - 16GB Kit* (4x4GB) No need for anything over 1600mhz for gaming and get 2x8gb sticks so you can add to it later
HDD : WD Green 3TBx2 RAID 0 Green drives dont like Raid, get a seagate barracuda, they are cheaper and you can raid
SSD : Crucial M4 128Gb Its okay but get a samsung 840 120gb
Graphic Card : MSI R7850 Twin Frozr 2GD5/OC OC cards are a waste of money OC them yourself get a 780 or 770
Sound Card : ASUS Xonar Phoebus You dont NEED a sound card and if you want one, either get a $50 asus one or the essence stx
Power Supply : Aerocool Strike-X 1100W 80 Plus Gold Modular http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817151111

Chasis : Aerocool X Predator X3 Might want to change to something else, doesnt look like a very good case
Drives : Asus BD-Drive 12x writer
Fans : Aerocool Shark Fan 12cm/14cm Devil Red Edition
CPU Coolers : Koolance CPU-380A
GPU Coolers : XPSC
RAM Coolers : XSPC Memory WaterBlock + Side Plate Set
Reservoir & Pump : Koolance RP-452X2 Dual 5.25in Reservoir for 1-2 PMP-450/S Pumps, Rev.2.0
Radiator  : Hardware Labs Black Ice GT Stealth GTS280 No custom loop until you have done a lot more research

There ya go.

Found two case that i like.. the BitFenix ghost & the BitFenix Shinobi XL.. which one you guys recommend me to take?

Out of those two, the BitFenix Shinobi XL. But to be honest, I'd rather go for something like the Fractal Design Define R4 or the Antec Eleven Hundred.

Also, what's your budget? That is usually the most important thing to build since you have to work around it.

Usage? Gaming/editing/rendering? Multi display? Do you need any peripherals? Windows?

If you ever need help with a build, read the following before posting: http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/3061-build-plan-thread-recommendations-please-read-before-posting/

-Ok...Well you don't need 2400mhz ram , get a Corsair Vengence 1600mhz kit or something similar- cheap and all you need
-As above you can't raid wd green drives

-You don't need a sound card, the built in one will be great on such a high end motherboard

-Steer away from water cooling loops(messy, difficult, and not worth the effort if you're only starting out) If you want good cooling get an all in one for your cpu, such as a corsair h100.

800 watt? You need a 500 watt PSU to run a single 7970, and maybe a 750 watt to run two. For a 7850, you would need probably a 450 watt PSU.

Guys, this the LinusTechTips forum, and he represents NCIX (well, techincally not anymore) but it would be nice to give links to NCIX, just saying. I have nothing against other retailers

There are 10 types of people in this world, those who understand binary, and those who don't.

Not really relevant to the question is it? Anyway, I think linus would like us give him the link to whatever website was the best value , because as you said, he is no longer working for NCIX.

I was just thinking for efficiency's sake and expandability.

if you're buying a 7850, you should just get a new card instead of crossfire, when you upgrade. If you want a power supply that can run any single card, get a 600 watt. Plus, it's not efficient to run your system at maybe ~100 watts at idle on an 800 watt power supply.

I wouldn't get a custom loop until you have researched the whole watercooling thing. If you don't even know if a build is compatible with other parts in it, you're not ready to do that kind of thing. I would only go with 2x4GB of ram, if you're going for a gaming build. If it's going to be used for editing/rendering, keep the 16GB. Also, cut the power supply down to like a 600W.  Absolutely nobody needs a 1100W PSU for a 7850. Speaking of the 7850, get a way better card. With the money you're saving from not buying the custom loop and downgrading the wattage on the PSU, you can get something like a gtx 780 for that build. Hope this helps :D
