4690 (if not Overclocking)

4690K if you do.

Don't skimp on the Motherboard (meaning spend at least $120+ on one with a good set of features and less limitations)

DDR3 memory of 1600Mhz or higher.

SSD for the OS to be snappy and responsive

GPU is harder.. Nvidia or AMD ecosystems.. people have preferred options & if not,.. the Nvidia GTX 970 or R9-290 can provide AMPLE FPS of 60+ (if game is properly coded) @ 1080p

Streaming = Nvidia Shadowplay or AMD GameDVR

Cases are subjective to your likes and dislikes...

I'm sure a more helpful person will make a build for you, but thought I'd chime in my quick 2cents.

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz

Alternatively, you can opt for a cheaper (albeit not as good) PSU -- something lik a CX600m~ a Cooler Master Hyper 212 (instead of an H105) and a Gigabyte 970 G1 Gaming:

Good stuff.

On the motherboard, definitely $110/$120+ (normal proces, if you get a sale price for less, obviously thats awesome), but at the same time 200+ really is not necessary.

I swear people have tons of saved computer builds on pcpartpicker with how fast they are posted...

Do you think it's worth to wait for Black Friday, or is there such a high demand for 4690k's and 290's etc that they won't lower the prices?

Considering black friday is only a couple days a way you might as well wait.

Also, if you live near a microcenter they have very good cpu+mobo (and often memory) deals.

Very similar to @djdwosk97 build, but air cooled and a GTX970. I also found a cheaper EVGA Powersupply - someone please slap me if this is a bad one, I know that most of their 80+ Gold ones are very highly reccomended.

Edit - sooo.... when I post here is 1109, its actually $50 more... not sure what's up. If it is actually 1109 - Might as well spend the money for an H105... No idea why my prices are so much cheaper.

Edit 2: OHHH, so, apparently microcenter has a 4690K listed as in-store pickup for 179... but normally it is the $230 ish.

I've been hearing around how windows 10 isn't that terrible. Do you guys think I should bare with windows 8 and get a free upgrade to windows 10. Or stick with windows 7 and pay for the $30 to upgrade?

And I really like these builds you guys are giving me. But whats the difference between 80+ Bronze from Gold?

The EVGA G2 is quite a bit better than the G1. (I also addressed the air cooler + Nvidia alternative in my spoiler, which is identical to yours but with a cheaper psu and a better version of the 970 :P)

Has it been officially made that w8/w8.1 will be a free upgrade while w7 is a $30 upgrade? If so, I'd go with w8.1 then and get the free upgrade to w10.

80+ gold has a higher efficiency (and usually higher efficiency PSUs are of a higher quality).

and also is there a great way to get any windows OS for cheap? I heard g2a but they are all sold out.

Regular retail, G2a.com, or from someone who goes to school/college and gets free windows keys.

From the great builds you guys provided me it seems like I'm going with this.

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/yN8trH

Is there anything else I should improve on?

(And about the air cooler I'll switch to a high quality noctua in the future)

I'd personally go with a Gigabyte G1 Gaming 970 instead, and in the future, I'd go with a 240/280mm AIO rather than a high end Noctua air cooler (something like a Corsair H105).

P.s. either quote or @Hydroelectric someone when responding so they get a notification.

@Hydroelectric Gigabyte Model vs MSI Model?

Gigabyte G1 Gaming 970 is currently the best 970 on the market.
