Best materials?

Go to solution Solved by Shaqo_Wyn,

What are the best materials (pump, res, tubing, etc) for settings up a custom loop to cool graphics card and cpu no budget

CPU / GPU block: EK, XSPC Raystorm, Swiftech are my favorite but there isn't really much difference in performance between all the reputable brands in terms of water blocks.

Pump: any D5 vario rebrand like the Swiftech MCP655 or Alphacool VPP655

Pump\res combo: EK 140 X-RES

Tubing: Primochill Advanced LRT 1/2 ID 3/4 OD

Fittings: Bitspower Compression fittings 1/2 ID 3/4 OD

Rads: Alphacool, Hardware Labs, Swiftech

Copper and water?

I mean the best parts, sure I could get an all copper radiator. What I meant was what are the best products on the market to buy for this setup, not literally what they are made out of.

But you put materials, not parts...

Sorry I take things too literally when I want to amuse myself.

It depends where you're located and where you can buy from.

Case and GPU?

Probably going with the Enthoo Luxe as it seems pretty good. My GPU is GTX 970 EVGA FTW edition

Wasn't considering water cooling GPU at the time, and the 970 is a way better deal for price for performance compared to the 980 anyways. I'm struggling to find waterblocks for the 970, there are plenty for the 980 though I just don't know if they fit or not.

Wow man, that was so helpful! Seriously. I found EK's website a little difficult to manage, and through their search had a hard time finding specific parts.

Turns out there are actually 5 blocks that will currently work on my GPU, but the fullcover is "coming soon", so I think I will wait for that, much appreciated!
