PC build for YouTube

Go to solution Solved by MattWakey,

So you're saying the i7 is the way to go?

I would say yeah, with a 970 render speeds would be quite fast

Hi there.

I am looking to build a pc for intense gaming at 1080p Ultra Settings.

I will be playing COD Advanced Warfare, BF4, GTA 5 (When it comes out for PC), Minecraft and other A-list titles.

I will be recording using Fraps and editing using Sony Vegas.

I was wondering if I should get an i5 4690k, an i7 4790, or an AMD 8350.

I'm looking to spend a little less than 1500$ Canadian.

Thanks!

(p.s.- I've already got all my peripherals, in case somebody makes me a part list.)

Sweet, thanks guys!

Unless you will be rendering for at least 5 hours a day the i7 wouldn't make any sense IMO.

I know the PSU is overkill but it should make for easy SLI in the future.
