750D or 450D

monjanger

Hey all, I am planning on building a PC soon (around Christmas.) this PC is going to be pretty powerful, but a hard choice I am having to make is, the corsair 450D or 350D. I originally was going to go with the 350D but I wasn't sure that would be a good idea since I can only fit in a micro motherboard. Plus, I am planning on putting in two GTX 980's. So, I went with the 450D, a good sized mid tower case. I had a NZXT Phantom once and that was HUGE! I had to get a different case. The 450D has a ugly front griddle, but that's the only thing stopping me from buying it. The 750D dosen't but it seems bigger. I may go, "may", go fully liquid cooled in the future, but for now I'm good.

Here are my specs:

750D. Your GPUs probably need some breathing room if you're running SLI.  Plus, if you watercool in the future, there is more space to watercool. The 450D seems a bit cramped.

this is probably the only place i'll hang out anymore: http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/274320-the-long-awaited-car-thread/

Current Rig: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600, Abit IN9-32MAX nForce 680i board, Galaxy GT610 1GB DDR3 gpu, Cooler Master Mystique 632S Full ATX case, 1 2TB Seagate Barracuda SATA and 1x200gb Maxtor SATA drives, 1 LG SATA DVD drive, Windows 10. All currently runs like shit :D
