Well wood is a insulator of heat so i would say it depends on your ambient temperature..... Or are you asking it "literature-ly" LOL

No. Wood is a warm material. It's because it used to feel warm on the touch. Metal and stone are cold.

Wood conducts heat badly,
Wood itself doesnt absorb much of you heat energy and thererfor doesnt feel as cold as metals
like steel or aluminium since they are good heat conductors.
