Should I get a chromebook for netflix etc

I have my desktop in my sig for everything else. Is it worth to buy one? 

 

the toshiba chromebook 2 looks nice, 1080ips panel. Is it worth the 300$ though? I have a laptop now, but I just want something simple and instant boots type of stuff.

I dont know a lot about chromebooks because they never got me interested, but i know one thing: i would take a closer look at the new HP Stream thingy, pretty much like chromebook just with windows and hell of a bargain

No. You should get that Stream or a decent Android tablet for that stuff (like the ASUS Transformer stuff).

A tablet is probably better for that.

Dude our school got every kid chromebooks and they are about as useful as milk in space. They are a tablet with a keyboard. They can't run anything and chrome OS constricts every file type. They also aren't able to use plugins and players.
