Upgrade to Windows 8.1?

I am debating on wether or not to upgrade to Windows 8.1 from Windows 7. I mostly game on my PC so would it make games or anything else run smoother and faster?

No buy a new gpu or wait for windows 10 as 8 is bad it is 1-2fps faster but that can be done with other things 10 will be 30 dollar upgrade from 7

I see no reason to upgrade.I find the interface of windows 8 hard to use and there's no improvement over performance(not very much at least).Wait for windows 10 as far as is going we are expeting major changes in terms of performance with dx12 and some more stuff

If you're going to format anyway, go ahead an upgrade. Just grab something to bring the start button back like classic shell. Windows 8.1 auto downloads a lot of drivers and saves a lot of time during the initial install and I honestly can't tell the difference after classic shell or start is back is installed.
