Looks to be IDE

EDIT: Don't really know, Maybe a proprietary SATA connector?

Yes, it's SATA. But it looks like the connectors were ripped off.

It's definitely a SATA connection. I can tell because of the two L shapes for the data and power connectors.

it an adapter for caddy mounting for notebooks

 

it more of an add on plastic connector

 

you can pull it out and you can see your regular SATA connections

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.

Did it come out of a laptop? I pulled a SATA drive out of a laptop that looked just like this, turned out it has a little adapter from a regular SATA interface on the drive to that strange connector. You may find that yours is just a SATA drive with an adapter like this:

Edit: @dragoon20005 beat me to it, but I think you should just be able to pull it out and use it a a regular SATA drive.

It looks like the hard drive gets pushed in from the top, right? My laptop had a proprietary connector and it just pulled right off.
