It's good to have a power bar for example under your bed (or beside it, like in my case 'cause I only have a mattress on the floor). Phone can recharge and still be at a easy-to-reach place when the morning alarms go off.

Never trust my advice. Only take any and all advice from me with a grain of salt. Just a heads up.

Try to keep your mind unoccupied. Don't plan things for the next day/future while trying to sleep. Try to read a book or do something relaxing. Don't watch movies or tv shows before hitting the bed. Make sure the room is dark enough if possible. Some professionals say that even just lying on bed can help you wake up feeling rested. Don't give up and get out of bed thinking you won't be able to sleep anyway. Focus on your breathing, prevents venturing into deep thoughts. :)

You may build up some sort of anxiety thinking you won't be able to get enough sleep 'till the alarm goes off. This is normal human behaviour, don't worry about it. Worrying about things is almost all the time pointless. But it can keep you from developing an "I don't give a shit." attitude, which is nice.
