Issue with Star Citizen patch

I'm having an annoying issue with Star Citizen. For the life of me, I cannot get a patch to install. At all. I've tried re-downloading it, reinstalling SC, disabling antivirus, etc. But no matter what I do, I can't get the game to patch, thereby causing it to be unlaunchable. Anyone else have a similar problem, or have had it and managed to fix it?

I've had a similar issue. In the game directory, try deleting the 'user' folder. You'd be surprised how many issues that fixes.

No offense to the OP, Please Please go to the RSI forums and talk to the tech guys there. the devs and support guys are really good, and much more knoledgable than those of us here. they will be able to help you much more than we can.

I've already posted it there. I got nowhere. That's the first place I posted it.

You are playing a pre-alpha, so even pretty big bugs like these are not supposed to be surprising.

Yes I know that. However, I can't even PATCH THE GAME to fix the issues.
