Recently my computer has been crashing a lot when editing or using editing software and sometimes in intensive games such as Battlefield 4. (My pc does not crash when playing games such as CS:GO) When making not very complicated project files After Effects uses up 4.5gb RAM very easily. (I have 8gb total). After working on a project for long enough, I run out of memory and my pc often crashes or the desktop goes black (I'm guessing to save memory). I ran MemTest all night a few nights ago with no errors. I don't know what is causing this. (I also increased my pagefile to try and help).

I've had the errors from BSOD that say :

WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE ERROR

and

SYSTEM SERVICE EXCEPTION

Your help would be much appreciated.

Thank you.

The WHEA one is a RAM issue I think ( I used to get it when I had my old ram)
Try update drivers.

Can you provide the crash dump file?  If you don't know what it is check how to get it here.

Since you didn't actually give us the minidumps, I can only assume a memory leak from some application.

What antivirus are you running?
